NIght in Paris

Paris is amazing, the nights are great things are just open so late.  Eating at sidewalk cafes at 10 pm with the warm weather and the city still humming along into the night. The food has been one of the best parts of this trip just one incredible meal after another.  Music is another constant everywhere there is music playing or live musicians performing. The city had a  unique sound track that includes plenty of old fashion rock and roll. Still more sites to see and great adventures to have so hold on more to come.

Had an awesome tour of the Louvre took three hours but what a great tour.

The Ride to Paris

Went by train to Paris arrived in the city of Lights yesterday afternoon. The ride through the chunnel was quick and less dramatic than I thought it would be. The countryside of France looks a lot like Maine. The train pulled in closer to the city and the went back underground. Got off the train and transferred to the subway.  Emerging from the subway it was like magic coming up into the city. Paris is so full of life and busy people doing things everywhere. Checked into the hotel and then off to the Eiffel Tower. ( pics to come later) The tour of the tower was amazing so much bigger than expected. Loved the history of this place. Then meandering back to the hotel , stopping on the way for a fantastic meal at a cafe. Sea Bass was the special and the views of the setting sun against the Louvre were amazing. ( by the way sunset was at about 9:45 pm here. ) Well that's all for now another day to explore Paris ahead. Having the best time EVER!

Last Day London on to Paris

Well it was the last day of London and off to Paris.
